The bill (Reg. No. 10376) determines that from January 1, 2013 persons with up to five children, in case of their retirement pension, shall be awarded pension if they have at least 15 years of pensionable service
In general, the Committee supports this legislative proposal aimed at increasing the level of pension provision. At the same time, there are certain reservations.
The change in conditions and norms of mandatory state pension insurance shall be made by amending the Law "On Mandatory State Pension Insurance" exclusively.
The Committee agrees with remarks of the Central Scientific Experts Office of the Verkhovna Rada Secretariat concerning the necessity to solve the problem of pension provision of certain groups of people in a separate law.
Members of the Committee stressed that a number of other norms also require refinement.
